Hold the phone Rick!
I'm actually hoping to have a meeting with the new Bushmills Committee in late October and if that goes well, we might even be looking at the next C. D. F. (in some shape or form) coming together for next September!
From past experiences I'm not holding my breath.
So yes, it's all pie in the sky right now, but one can but dream!
Cheers DickThank goodness you're not holding your breath! Even if it does work out, holding your breath from now 'til October wouldn't be a good idea. BTW, I guess the first question is, have the committee even been able to have a meeting without ending in disagreement? If so, maybe there's hope. And if the pie does fall in your lap from the sky, here's hoping it lands right side up - for two reasons. 1. if it didn't, it would be a horrible waste of a good pie. 2. I know how much you don't want to shell out the pounds for either cleaning your trousers or buying a new pair. Here's hoping! September, eh? Hmmmm. After the Folk Park Celebration, I'm guessing. I'll email you offline about this - prices could be too high for travel then.

Hello and best of luck with t'committee. Not sure about September though; I'd guess it could prevent some people from getting there from overseas. Still if there's plenty of local support that wouldn't be as much of a problem. I'd hope that the focus on the Antrim tradition could generate more interest and involvement by local people, particularly younger ones. Keep us posted. jenny4dulc.
