Hi, Katia.
How long have you lived there? Do you know Marcy (who played hammered dulcimer, but doesn't live there any longer)?
I just read your posting in the Welcome thread. It sounds like Marcy may have moved from there before you arrived.

Ah, sounds like you've had a bit too much of the hot tea this winter, Ptarm. Seeing people who aren't there and wishing they'd go away. Hmmm. Or maybe it's the lack of sunlight this time of year?

Sadly Rick, we suffer from a lack of sunlight at ALL times of the year! Ah, now that isn't quite true - the sun shines when we're over! ;D And, yes, Barbara, they do allow some of us from the States on here. Even if none of us are quite sure where Idaho is.

Yes Dick I had noticed you were using a different language,. :-) but since I'm a genius I have no problem understanding your dialect. Thank you so much for being accepting of us poor saps from the states. Seeking greener pastures we left the mother land. Across the rolling ocean,. then we parked on rock and sand. We grew so fat and happy and that's why we did roam. But things don't look so good here now,., can we come back home? ?
Hi Rick. you must reside far far away from the west. :-)

But things don't look so good here now,., can we come back home? ? Well, I've looked into it, Barb, and they're trying to be like us in the states, so it won't be much different there than here soon. Hi Rick. you must reside far far away from the west. :-) ~barb Actually, we were the west here in TN once upon a time. BTW, I have heard of Idaho, but one of our son's friends said he didn't believe anyone lived there - he'd never met anyone who had lived in Idaho. Not long after that, I actually met a woman at the John C Campbell Folk School who was from there. So, I know people do live there. It's kinda northwest of TN, from what I hear. But Dick, I think, just thinks, "Wha' are they blatherin' about? They're both west o' here!"

Tennessee? where's that place? :-) I'm kidding. Actually my best freind is from Tennessee. she lived there all here life until one day she lost her mind and moved to Idaho. that was 15 yrs. ago. I've heard things about Tennessee from her. Like a lot of winding roads. And a person can't see very far because all sorts of growing things are in the way. :-) And it rains. She longed for blue sky and dry air. Well she got it. Lots of blue sky days., until you get buried in snow. :-) I've been as far east as Oklahoma. The air there was so soft I could hardly breathe. like suffocating on cotton balls dipped in baby oil. Moist air is probably better for the skin though. We dry up like prunes around here. ok. I'm done yapping.

Hi Dick., yes those pastures are a lovely green. And I think it was the leprechauns that caused the ancestors to leave. Tap dancing on the roof tops they were,. until the old folks couldn't take another minute of it.
