Hello Folks
I am a northern english lass of middle years, and I bought my first mountain dulcimer 2 months ago at the Musicport festival in Bridlington.
I am a self taught amateur musician, have played fingerstyle guitar for many a long year and can also pick out about half a dozen songs on the 5-string banjo. As a former gospel singer, early american material suits my voice, so the dulcimer seemed like a logical move.
I am very glad to have found a forum, as I have yet to even meet another dulcimer player, so I am looking forward to lurking, learning and contributing on here.
