Yeah, yeah I know. This festival is some 5000 miles west of where you are but on the minute chance somebody might be heading west here it is: Evart's dulcimer funfest is the third weekend of July and features over 200 dulcimer related classes, workshops, etc. Wanna hear what 250 dulcimers sound like all playing the same tunes? Don't! or at least wear ear plugs. How to get there? Google map it like I did. Love the partial entry below, especially #38
33. Take the exit onto A131/E05 toward Le Havre Continue to follow E05 6.7 mi 9 mins 34. Turn right at Quai Colbert 358 ft 35. Turn right to merge onto Rue Marceau 0.2 mi 36. Take the ramp onto Quai Frissard 0.6 mi 2 mins 37. At the traffic circle, take the 4th exit onto E05 0.6 mi 2 mins 38. Swim across the Atlantic Ocean Entering United States (Massachusetts) 3,462 mi 29 days 0 hours 39. Turn left at Long Wharf 0.1 mi 40. Continue on State St
Etc,
Lots of cool jamming going on. Be there or be talked about.

Jim, a link would have been nice ...... Duh! ;DEvart Dulcimer Festival"Wanna hear what 250 dulcimers sound like all playing the same tunes?" ........ er quite frankly - No! I much prefer small sessions, to be honest!
It certainly looks rather tasty all right, but hey, are you seriously expecting us to have enough energy to play H-D, after we: - "38. Swim across the Atlantic Ocean"
I don't know about the rest of the folks here, but the last time I swam over, I needed a full two days to get my breath back!
