Here's one that just got posted to YouTube of our Irish Session here in Chattanooga, which, as you can see, is dulcimer-friendly: www.youtube.com/watch?v=uufEtZ_1vwkThis was the Friday before New Year's, I believe, when we were visited by a fiddler from Knoxville. Our normal fiddler (if there is such a thing - a normal fiddler, that is) (Sorry Ptarm - it, it just came out!) is the one shooting the video. The bodhran player is our flute/whistle player. And, there is that dulcimer player on the right that gets shown every so often....myself.

Ah Rick, interesting ...... so that's what Chattanooga looks like! At least the inside of Durty Nelly's part of Chattanoga. ....... & a quiet Bodhran player too! Yes, he's progressing along nicely on it. Now, here's a realization (or is that realisation?) - last night at the session, which lasted from about 6:30PM EST to about 10:30PM EST, I realised (and realized) that we were playing while you all were at Tom's - 6:30-10:30PM EST = 11:30PM - 2:30AM IST. So, I guess we were having some tunes together separately. Cheers!

Here's another way to use your Dulcimer Music. This is a video collection of Flora & Fauna photos taken by me, during recent dog walks at one of my favourite bird watching spots in the Antrim Hills, mostly with my new Panasonic FZ150 Camera. I have used a track of me playing Cptn O'Kane & the Pikeman's March on my Rick Thum Dulcimer as the soundtrack. Altarichard Forest, Co Antrim, Northern IrelandCheers, Dick

Just added another Video to our list. In 2005 I organised a Music Festival in North Antrim, to promote the music of the Hammered Dulcimer, an instrument with a long history in Co. Antrim. The event was also in memory of John Rea, the great Co. Antrim Hammered Dulcimer player from Glenarm. This video is a wee souvenir for all those who attended. For anyone who wasn't able to join us, it's a wee reminder of what they missed out on. Causeway Dulcimer Festival, Bushmills, Co. Antrim Cheers, Dick
