Photographs of Hammered DulcimersThere are some links below, to a few pages I put together of beautiful photographs of Hammered Dulcimers from around the World, which help to demonstrate the diversity of this family of wonderful instruments.
I will hopefully be constantly updating these pages, as generous players send me small jpgs of interesting instruments & accessories, so please call back from time to time.1 - Irish Dulcimers2 - UK Dulcimers 3 - American Dulcimers4 - Dulcimer Hammers5 - Dulcimers of the Middle East6 - Dulcimers of the Far EastThe inspiration for these pages came from two sources. Vince Hearns sent me a fascinating photo of his grandfather's old Dulcimer, which lay in an outhouse for thirty years. Then I visited Fred Woodley's site, which has some wonderful old photographs of Dulcimers & Dulcimer players of the Birmingham area. It is well worth a look: Fred WoodleyI hope you enjoy browsing through these pages. If you have any small jpgs of interesting Hammered Dulcimers, especially if there is an interesting story to them, then please feel free to send them to me & I'll happily add them to these pages.
Don't forget to check out the Dulcimer photos over on the Everything Dulcimer website too: Eye Candy
