Nonsuch News - Issue 2.07
I just received my copy of the latest Nonsuch News.
A little slimmer than usual, but still some interesting stuff inside, including a photo of an old Postcard from the National Exhibition in Edinburgh in 1908, which shows a queue of folks & interestingly the two ladies in the front are each carrying Mt. Dulcimer-like instruments! ( I Didn't see any of my family in the queue behind those ladies though!)
Pav Verity writes an interesting article on what looks like a Hungarian Citera, very much like the one used in this video:CiteraThere's also a report on the Northern Nonsuch Meet, at Clay Cross, 10th June, another report on a Dulcimer Workshop for Children in Portsmouth plus a number of interesting letters & adverts etc etc
Just thought you'd like to know what your missing ........ if you are not yet a member!
Cheers Dick
