I don't know about other areas of Europe but anyone living in the UK might be interested to note that Lidl are selling off lots of reasonably priced Musical Items RIGHT NOW!
I spotted this handy little STOOL which looks well worth checking out & might be an ideal accessory for any H-D player.
They're also selling tuners, guitars, stands etc etc
Cheers Dick

Thanks for that tip! I am going to have to take a look at that to see what you were talking about. I have an old Turkish dubek that I use as my drink table next to my dulcimer (of course I would never do that with my good drums). At our last monthly traditional music meeting a friend of mine showed me a small guitar that he just built. He not only had a sound hole in the front, but he also placed a sound hole on the top of the guitar too. Even though he explained it was so he could hear himself better, I was telling him it looked like a drink holder. It was in the perfect place to put his big gulp drink

snickersnickersnicker........sounds like my younger days where guitarists would use the strings on the peghead to hold various smokable burning objects........
