Just wondering if anyone here knows who played the Hammered Dulcimer on the sound track of the Lord of the Rings movie, The Two Towers?
I notice it was used for part of the Gollum theme.
Cheers Dick

"Gollum gets two themes; one appears in "The Taming Of Smeagol", played by a hammer dulcimer to represent the instabile, scyzophrenic side of Gollum"
Well, I thought we were playing a mad instrument... now we have the proof? pity the sample doesn't go far enough to hear the HD...

Read that again Nikita! ..... em..... er....... they're not saying that it's the instrument that's "instabile & scyzophrenic" ! I think they mean the PLAYER! ;D

Man I wish I had photo shop on this machine...I can just see Smegol armed with a pair of hammers playing on "his precious"! On the Amazon page it mentions the cimbalom...which I can't see Gollum dragging one around the caves and mountains to Mordor.
