Check out these hammers that a friend made and gave me to at a jam session a few days ago. They're worlds apart from the short ones I had been using..very long and elegant. I'm not sure if there's a thread for this, I couldn't find one..

Very tasty Carkner. Clearly, that's a good friend you have there.

Whoops, I missed the replies. They are fairly spring and not at all heavy. I'd say they weigh only half of what my other,shorter hammers weigh.
