Just like to wish all members & readers of this Forum a wonderful Hogmanay and happiness & health to you & yours in 2008. In the New Year, may your right hand always be stretched out in friendship, but never in want. ~ Traditional Irish toast ... & may all your troubles be like my Granny's teeth .... few & far apart! ;D Cheers Dick

Happy New Year to you all!
Tonight, we're having an Irish Session at Durty Nelly's Irish Pub (www.durtypub.com). But they close at 9PM on Mondays, usually. They might stay open later, but have no other special things going on for New Years'. But what a way to bring in the new year - Irish tunes and a bit o' the Guinness, not to mention food.
May 2008 bring new, good and surprising things into your lives!
Cheers!

Nikita, I'm afraid the only "bubbling stuff" I had was Coke! Well, someone has to drive home! I sincerely hope you have a magnificent 2008. Cheers Dick

I hope everyone did not get too "hammered!" Naw - no more than usual. After all, I am a hammered dulcimer player! Actually, I limited myself to one pint o' Guinness with supper, then went for water and hot tea before we left for home. Other than just wanting to get home in one piece, the police were out in force with roadblocks to get those who had had too much to drink before driving home. BTW, Ptarm, by the time we got started good it was already 2008 in Bushmills, so we didn't feel too terribly bad about leaving for home before midnight. We knew you fellas had it under control over there.
