Hello
Well, I've been playing Traditional Music, Irish & Scottish, for more than thirty years now but I only took up the Hammered Dulcimer about four years ago, after learning that Hammered Dulcimer players were an endangered species over here, in Ireland.
About that time I also became very interested in Old Time Appalachian Music, so I find myself playing mostly Old Time on my H-D.
My wife plays Harp mostly, but recently we bought a Mountain Dulcimer, so we now have a foot in both Dulcimer camps, so to speak!
