Hello and thanks for welcoming me I come from Essex in the UK and own a hammered dulcimer which I use for part of my music which can be found here: www.myspace.com/sitorimonI first fell in love with the dulcimer (well Yang Chin) after hearing and seeing it played by Lisa Gerrard from Dead Can Dance. I was entranced and decided I must have one. I not a very good player at all and I really struggle with the tuning of it but its something I really intend to master over time and it will be integral in my musical works. Hi all Simon

Hey, sitorimon, your music is fascinating ... delighted & honoured to have you on board Sir.
Thanks for bringing Lisa Gerrard to my attention, too. I know, I'm probably the only person on the planet who hasn't heard of her! Well, we do tend to live a quiet, sheltered existence over here in Ulster!
By the way, if your having any problems with your H-D at all, remember we already have on boeard here some very talented, knowledgeable & experienced H-D players, so I'd ask away on the relevent Board & I'd be surprised if they can't help you solve your tuning probs for a start!
Cheers Dick
