Hello folks! I have a confession: I'm not a Limey... but I like them! I live in St. Paul, Minnesota, U.S. where I play a James Jones hammered dulcimer that looks a lot like the bottom one on this page. www.jamesjonesinstruments.com/hammereddulcimer/hdphotos4.html I've been playing for about 3 years and I host the Twin Cities Hammered Dulcimer Club here in Minneapolis/St. Paul. I first heard someone playing a H.D. on the Michigan State University campus back in the early 1970's, and I never forgot the beautiful sound. Three years ago, I told my wife it was time for my mid-life crises, and I needed to either buy a red sports car, get a mistress, or buy a hammered dulcimer. She picked the dulcimer. Good choice! You can learn more at my web site: www.myspace.com/dulcimertom and see pictures of my wonderful family, including my new granddaughter Ali. Cheers!
