Hi! I am from the US in North Carolina, the eastern part. I LOVE dulcimer music and can't get enough! I have three mountain dulcimers (so far) and a Masterworks 15/14Hammer Dulcimer. I've been playing the HD for almost a year now. I have done a few performances, a couple at Christmas and have played at church some. I'm really just getting started good and enjoying the ride! I thought it would be fun to join up here and hear about the performers on that side of the pond!

Hey, another Dulcimer player from North Carolina .... is this a take-over bid guys? ;D
But seriously, it's really great to have you on board.
By the way, I've noticed that nobody has just one M-D over there, everyone but everyone seems to have a whole collection of them!!
Ah well, it's good to have someone here, with experience of playing both.
Hope you enjoy meeting your fellow Dulcimer addicts, from this side of the water?
Cheers Dick

I don't think I've ever known a slow eastern North Carolinian! I lived in Morehead City and Atlantic Beach for several years. Then lived in Raleigh for a while, and just about 8 weeks ago moved to Chattanooga, TN. Glad to know there's someone in eastern NC playing HD. Whereabouts are you, if you don't mind saying?

Hi Rick! I'm in Nash County...and you know me, well a little. I was in class with you in Winston-Salem, I'm Lori. I really enjoyed the class...and am sorry you're not still in this area! NC's loss is Tennessee's gain! Hope you are doing well!

When I saw eastern NC, I was wondering if there was another dulcimer player over that way. The only one I knew of used to be in Morehead City, but moved from there. I'm looking forward to some interesting discussions in this forum. Well, back to work with me!
