Welcome Fred, I liked your "Dulcimer Den" site very much! Glad to see a great tradition going strong. Particularly loved the pictures of antiques that have been in family and the dulce you made from a friend's waredrobe door,(!) reminded me of the old stories of folks making them from barn doors, pews, crates, etc. Look forward to seeing you on the forum! Welcome Fred,
I checked out your site. Really enjoyed the pictures. One picture got my interest - The Thomas Henry Walker picture. It looks like it has metal bands instead of strings. Do you know any more info? The reason I ask is that I am experimenting with a Chime Dulcimer - uses pipes instead of strings!
