Hello all, thank you for the welcome - great to find this friendly looking forum. I've been learning to play the Hammered Dulcimer for about eight months now - received my lovely dulcimer as a surprise (well complete shock actually) 40th birthday present from my other half. About fifteen years ago I spent a rapturous twenty minutes with a friends newly acquired dulcimer, have never had another go until now - and I'm loving it, though still all very sketchy!
We live in West Wales, in a remote and very old farmhouse (ongoing project ........) at the foot of the Preseli hills.

Is there a house in this photo? ;D Actually it's not entirely dissimilar - here's the view from our back field Can't claim that this is my 'dulcimer view' - the house faces the other way ....
