Hello Ptarmigan and everybody, thank you for your welcome!
I fell inlove of the hammered dulcimer more or less 2 months ago thanks to the internet. So I bought one and I'm know a happy tympanon player.
I use this word as I'm French, but in fact it's come from England, a british artist sold it to me.
My music is...eclectic... from the Middle Ages to Pink Floyd, Marillion, The Corrs... And for the dulcimer I bought books of Irish music.

AaaaaaH, quelqu'un de francophone sur ce forum ;D Ca fait plaisir. même s'il faudra parler anglais pour ne pas embêter les autres  Pour les avatars : je m'y suis pris à plusieurs reprises pour mettre le mien : moi je passe par photobucket : c'est une site pour envoyer des photos sur le web : tu télécharge ta photo, et le site te donne une adresse url pour la photo : plus qu'à la copier et la coller sur ton profil !  sorry for you english speakers, but it's good to have a frenchie HD player ! ;D |

Whad he say? My southern ears don't understand that! My wife was going to learn French, but decided on Spanish instead. We don't have that many French-speaking folks in this neck o' tha woods. I'm sure you should go to French OK I promise I won't say bad things on somebody  Just imagine you're alone in a world where nobody speaks your language, wouldn't you catch the only person speaking your language as a buoy ? Well let's say that Nikita is my buoy I'm happy to be with all of you ! |
