I got a note from some friends saying they are holding a benefit for David James who suffered a heart attack recently. David won the Irish National Dulcimer contest three times. I'm not certain if there is a place to donate but here is the link. irishmusiciansassociation.org/pages/page2Dulcidude |

I trust David has made a full recovery & has taken heed of this wee warning & is now taking it a little easier these days!

Scary that we nearly lost such a talented man, and I'm delighted to see that he's out and playing again! David was the first person I heard play dulcimer live and in person. I'll have to seriously consider driving down to Illinois for this event, which promises to be quite a nice party!!!
