Hello, everyone! Thanks for the welcome. I am very pleased to be a part of your forum. I have read some of the posts and have found them very interesting and informative. I am also a member of EverythingDulcimer.com. "
I am from Northeastern Ohio in the U.S. I play both Hammered and Mountain Dulcimer. My "default" instruments are voice and guitar! I have been playing the fiddle for a number of years but still have a LONG way to go on that instrument! Occasionally I "play" the tinwhistle.(I'm looking forward to when I'll have the time to seriously work on it- I probably should take some lessons... !) I play in two bands. Our specialties are traditional (U.S.) music and Celtic music. We also play "early music"- which I absolutely love!
Some of my favorite artists are Kendra Ward Bence (who, I notice is also a new member,)Sweetwater, Tony Elman, and Lisa and Heather Malyuk.
I am looking forward to "meeting" many new friends on this forum!

Hi Dulcigal,
Interesting to see you mention Lisa and Heather Malyuk for they were very special guests at my Causeway Dulcimer Festival, here in Bushmills. Lovely girls & wonderful musicians. Please say hi from me, the next time you see them.
Cheers Dick
