I am delighted to have been invited into this forum. I have been a dobro player since 1982 and have won 6 state titles here in Illinois. I bought a hammered dulcimer about 15 years ago and decided it is time to make friends with it. I hope to someday learn to tune the thing so the music I play will be somewhat pleasant to listen to. I ask that you hang in there with me as I have plenty of questions. Thanks again and I look forward to learning this instrument.
Greg

Welcome, ggrover!
This is the" place to be!" Would you like to ask any questions about tuning to help you get started? "Fire away!"
