Hey, thanks for posting that great photo Jim.
I'd say that was a bit intimidating though, wasn't it, having Dan looking over your shoulder like that, while you played! 
OK Now you can play as well as Dan, so all you need is a big hat, eh! ;D |

Thanks, Dick! It was a little intimidating with Dan there, but I'm used to playing with him around. This pic was on Saturday, and Dan had spent the night at the house on Friday and given myself and the other MONWDP members a 3 hour lesson. After the great weekend we had, Dan and I are putting together a piece-meal old time band to compete in a fiddler's convention Labor Day weekend. I can't wait! Going to do "Leather Britches" as the main song with "Ragtime Annie" as our backup. I did go buy a similar hat last week!  I don't have a costume of any kind for playing out, so I figured the hat was as good as anything. Now I'll just have to get up enough gumption to wear it at my gig this Sunday! We need to get you over here to join us!!!!!!!!!!!!!  ;D |
