The lap harp (cimbala) is a real instrument with a beautiful harp-like tone. It is an ancient instrument mainly associated with Russia and Eastern European countries, but it is played all over the world.
Being so simple to learn, the lap harp (cimbala) is an ideal first instrument. Both children and adults quickly gain a sense of achievement and confidence with it.
Included with the cimbala are a set of music cards, two plectrums, a tuning key and playing instructions. It comes with a selection of eight tunes, and further sets of tunes are available
