I know this site is supposed to be focused on Europe but there are plenty of Americans who are members so if Dick doesn't mind....

This festival is about 20 yrs. old. I've been to a couple and plan on attending this year.
Given its focus is dulcimers, both hammered and Appalachian lap zither, and its small size I've had both attendees and performers tell me that it is one of the better festivals to attend. I've always had a good time there. There are plenty of workshops, performances, & some opportunity for "parking lot" jams. Also of course plenty of instruments & accessories: hammers, CD's, books, etc. for sale.
If you're in the area I recommend it for a Saturday or Sunday outing.
