I was surprised to find that only three Hammered Dulcimer players have actually posted tracks of their music over on ezFolk! ~ Nic Hambas, Dick Glasgow & Woody Woodward.
Sadly, as far as I can see, there are only 5 Tracks posted on the official Hammered Dulcimer List.
Genre: 'Hammered Dulcimer' ~ 5 Tracks
By contrast, 180 Tracks have been posted on the Mountain Dulcimer List.
Although, to be fair 18 of those have been posted by Nic Hambas on which he plays H-D, M-D & B-D.
Genre: 'Dulcimer' ~ 180 Tracks
So, I'm curious to know why so many M-D players like to post tracks of their music on ezFolk?
More importantly, I'd love to know why so few H-D players have bothered posting tracks of their music there?
It seems like a great opportunity, especially for keen amateurs, to be able to post some of their own music there & then see what other folks think of their playing. It's also a great place to hear other musicians playing.
Have I missed your tracks?
Are your tracks actually hidden on another Genre?
