Sorry guys, I feel like I've been kind of neglecting you all recently. The fact is, as well as a short 3 day working trip to the south coast - Waterford, I've actually been busy launching a new forum, which looks at as many cultural aspects of North Antrim here, as I can think of. If you like, it's my wee cross-community effort towards bringing both sides a little closer together here, by trying to show them all the many & varied things we have in common, instead of the usual way the local media always seems to be highlighting the few differences. Anyway, if you'd like to check it out & give me some advice, you'll find it here: NORTH ANTRIM HERITAGE ForumI'm sure anyone who was thinking of visiting Northern Ireland would also find much of the information very useful. Now, I must hot foot it over to CD Baby & see if I can get myself a copy of the new Big Hungry Joe CD. Cheers Dick

Hey Dick!
I just checked out the North Antrim Heritage Forum. Looks interesting, especially since I checked the Hearth Money Rolls and I believe I may have found a part of the Irish side of my Mother's family. I was always told that my Great Grandmother was from Antrim (Town? County? no one remembers positively) before emigrating to Toronto, Canada in the 19th century. I know the family has a lot of old documents stored away from that branch, just no one has had the time to do the research. This may turn out to be the catalyst to get the work done. Being typical American mutts my family has most of the other three branches already sussed out. Anyway, serendipity notwithstanding, thanks for the link.

Wow Ed! That'd be really great if the forum helped someone already.
Good Luck.
Cheers Dick
