Hello all,
Is there anybody in Glasgow who plays the Hammer Dulcimer, I would like to meet any interested players and teach each other tunes.
I look Forward to hearing from anybody.

Yes, I know of at least one member here who lives up that way.
He hasn't posted for quite a while so you should try reaching him, by sending him a PM: JACKHe's a wonderful player so I know he has lots of tunes to share.

Just a quick update. I've arranged the use of a room at St Andrews in the square, www.standrewsinthesquare.com/Flash/saints.htmlon Monday 14th Jan 2008 at 7.30pm. So far Mikey Smith is coming along and hopefully Quercus. The idea is to learn some of the tunes that the fiddle class play and hopefully team up with them for a session. Initially we hope to meet up once a month and any other interested dulcimer players will be welcome. Jack |

Next meeting is set for Monday, 11th Feb. We've got a list of tunes that the fiddle workshop are learning and we'll try and work our way through them so we can play with the fiddles.
