Well, last weekend was the Chattanooga Dulcimer Festival. I know this isn't in Europe, but we had some visitors from your side of the pond. Some of you might recognize them in this photo at out local Irish Session the night after the festival was over.
At the festival, we had an Irish music class led by Columbus, Ohio, bouzouki player Randy Clepper, also a dulcimer player. We had some good discussion and some tunes. Then, after the concert, at 10PM, we had an Irish Session at one of the local hotels as part of the festival.
I taught, as well - Modes used in Celtic and Old-Time music, and Intro to Playing Backup.
The paintings, poetry and music Are all merely water drawn from the well of mankind And must be returned to him in a cup of beauty So he may drink And in drinking, come to know himself. --Lorca
