I just learned of this from Jack Bethel & thought it was such a great idea that I just had to tell you all about it.
How would you like to look fit & sporty heading for your weekly session?

I must admit, my Oakwood does tend to get a little bashed about, being thrown in & out of car boots & colliding with pub doors etc etc
& this looks like a great way to help keep it in one piece, for a little longer.
I'm sure it'll also help to stop it from suffering from the extremes of temp change & so mean a little less tuning, which always helps ..... not that the Oakwood goes out of tune that quickly.

Dick, I bought one of these last year. It's a near perfect fit for my Oakwood 12/11. It doesn't quite zip over the handle but I don't mind that as I prefer to carry it by the dulcimer handle rather than the built in handles.
The MERLIN ARCHERY BAG
I tend to just leave the lid at home but it can fit with the lid on.
It doesn't have much padding but it does protect the dulcimer and it has some kind of wire frame that keeps it in shape.
My stand even fits into the front pocket!
