Hey there Dick, How about an American mythological take on those vocals..... ;-) pity, it's a bit jumpy at the end but notice that he holds that note the whole time. www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4Kx2sRe5l8

Ahh.... imagine... playing surrounded by four gorgeous female box players... just the thing....!!! Actually, a story in my family : it seems we had a cousin in the USA, who made quite a show jodling, back in the 40ties-50ties. She had false teeth, and when she was singing, her teeth would slip, and she would catch them with a snap (without using her hands...)... keeping on jodling... Jodling is a great thing : it's the only weapon against martians (go to 1:58...) uk.youtube.com/watch?v=2IKKbXa5JBk&feature=relatednext time I come to Ireland, I'll bring you appenzeller trad. earrings, Dick

next time I come to Ireland, I'll bring you appenzeller trad. earrings, Dick Ah, now that's what I want to see - Dick wearing those earrings while playing dulcimer - at Tom's or Springhill.

At least, this one shows more of the actual way of life in appenzel... than the big tv show...
