Hello to all....I am a professional Mountain Dulcimer player, and Luthier, from Springfield, MO USA. I have been performing and teaching for 30 years here. I'll save time and just invite you to visit my website, www.DulcimerCentral.com to get quite a bit more info. I have a lot of free Tab there as well. You will notice that I have quite a different style of playing dulcimer, flatpicking largely across the strings for melody. If you are unfamiliar with this approach I have some YouTube videos that show it. Here is an example: www.youtube.com/watch?v=VkKqHKzooM8I would be interested in knowing how many Mountain Dulcimer players are on the forum. I look forward to participating in your forum. Play On ! I am happy to add my reply....to say that Gary is indeed a professional mountain dulcimer teacher! I enjoyed a week-long class with Gary as my instructor in the intermediate class at Western Carolina University four or five years ago.....great learning and fun.
