well, actually..........i wore the handles rather round, so i can spin from leathers to wood during a tune. pretty nifty effect.

Then you will need to get hammers with little loops on them so you can whip them out and spin them before hammering away!!! You just get double-sided hammers and put your finger in the hole to twirl them. Then, once twirled, you flip them back to hold the proper end. Not that I can do that, but you could.

Hey Folks...I have used the "case" that tennis balls come in (is that a sentence??) Anyway three tennis balls are sold here in the states in a metal tin with a plastic top...all but one of my hammer sets fit inside. I know John Lionarons has used the plastic tennis ball "case" also.

Joking apart, the idea's almost certainly a spin-off of Paddy Moloney's tin whistle stack, clipped inside 2 6" gutters - he hinged them together and added a clip, but usually just used elastic.
