Hello to all on this list. I am Jim Wells, a string player from the U.S. Specifically from San Mateo, California, just 20 miles south of San Francisco. I have been playing for about 18 years and previous to the HD, I played and continue to play many other stringed instruments. A few years ago I invented the JimBow and have been bowing my instrument as well as hammering and plucking. I love zithers of all types also and would love to hear from anyone with a similar bent. I play a 16/15 mastrworks with dampers and would also be interested in playing techniques incorporating dampers and what other players are doing. Thanks for the worm welcome.
