Although I live in Germany, I am a New Zealander. I am a learner and decided to learn a musical instrument as a defence against decreptude by regularly learing new skills and because I love listening to music but have never been able to play. My love for that period in history known as the middle ages led me to search for an instrument from that period. Discovering Dizzi Duclimer on youTube convinced me the hammered dulcimer had to be the instrument of choice. I just adore the timbre of the instrument.
I purchased a TK O'Brien 12/11 from Dizzi and plan to be competent in a year's time.
