Ha, so I - at last -know the title of St Basil's Hymn : I have it on tape, and of course nothing written. Anyone know where I can get the score ? Nice playing - and nice combination of 2 swiss instruments the Hang... and the HD, as Paul Gifford tells us !

Ah Ha ..... so it's the Swiss we have to blame for The Hang!

ahHa ! we swiss have a bad habit of producing addictive instruments, between hd and hang... agood thing we don't any more risk being "hanged" for that well, i'd rather be blamed for the hang than for obscure bank affairs...

I know the pile is old but I just thought I would drop these on top of it. www.youtube.com/mrcalandin addition to the few of me playing there should be play lists of a large portion of the HD vids on youtube. Enjoy Cliff

We were talking about Marina Albero somewhere else in another thread on this forum. Check out this video and her splendid work. Flamenco dulcimer!! No mean feat... Wow!

Well, she's using ordinary Hammers in THIS CLIP. She has a MySpace too. Here's a Blog biography on her too. No wonder she can play Flamenco so well, have you seen her playing Vibrophone on THIS ONE.... & Piano on THIS ONE.This lady is one class musician! Cheers Dick

ok, ok show some mercy becuase this is the first time I play the hammered dulcimer live . I'm just a newcomer to the instrument, normally I play piano, flute or sing, but I was gifted an apprentice model last xmas and well this is the first time it comes with me to the stage. It was in the film fest of Estepona. Sorry about the audio quality, it was my own camera and it was behind the pa (with no monitoring in the dulcimer). I didn't pay attention enough to the singing cos I confess I was a bit in panic to perform dulcimer in front of public for the first time. Song is a variation of my song "Away" (away reprise, an accoustic approachment normally on guitar). My mate's bodhran fell in the middle of the song too and I got a bit jumped and mistook a note but no more excuses, here we go, i'm quite happy I dared to do it either way. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6O2O8weIn8
